The Alloy Team offers a convenient click and collect wheel refurbishment service. Just book online and our Alloy Ambulance will come to your chosen address and remove the damaged wheels from your vehicle, replacing them with our universal spare wheels. This allows full use of your vehicle whilst the repairs are carried out. On completion, we will return and replace your refurbished wheels. No hassle, no waiting, no inconvenience. ​ Our process - We remove the wheels from your car. - The wheel is then carefully cleaned to remove any traces of wax or silicon from the affected area. This also ensures a better finish as it allows improved adhesion when the lacquer is applied. -Any damage is repaired using varying techniques by hand, removing the offending scuffs or kerb damage. The damaged areas of the wheel is then painted, colour matched to the original finish. -The damaged areas on the polished metal edge of the wheel is repaired using our specially designed state of the art CNC wheel lathe, carefully removing any scuffs or kerb damage. - The wheels are checked after each pass until the offending marks have been completely removed. - Lastly a clear lacquer coat is applied to the whole wheel, sealing it. The wheel is then placed on the drying rack for curing. The lacquer paint is applied to enhance the finish but to also protect the wheel from environmental damage. - Finally, the tyre is refitted, inflated, and balanced. It is then put back to your vehicle to the correct specification, torqued up to the correct specification. After a final inspection, the process is complete, and your vehicle is ready to drive again. ​ For your peace of mind, The Alloy Team provide a guarantee on all diamond cut wheels. The overall cost of this procedure depends on the size of your wheels. ​ Payment is made on inspection of our work by card or bank transfer. Your invoice also acts as a full twelve-month guarantee for our standard alloy wheel refurbishments and a six-month guarantee for Diamond Cut alloy wheel refurbishments. All wheels should be washed 24hours before collection. If not an additional charge of £10 per wheel will be charged per wheel.
